Digital Reporter Levels
Each Digital Reporter is assigned a level on the platform. DRs can be promoted to higher levels by hosting high quality events and reliably scheduling and attending those events. A brief description of the levels can be found below.
- Beginner: New to the platform, DRs will use this starting level as a way to get practice into the different ways a proceeding can end and learn how to conduct themselves in proceedings.
- Intermediate: Have taken at least three events that are not a CNA and have received little to no feedback or only positive feedback from the Parrot team.
- Advanced: Have completed a large number of events, mostly depositions. The Parrot team can rely on you to always host high quality events, and feedback is never needed.
- Expert: Been a reliable, high-quality DR with Parrot consistently. Is trusted to also take 15-minute depositions and hearings (in applicable states).
- This is the highest level a DR can be, which means you may be asked to participate in additional asks outside of the DR role (such as user research, focus groups, etc.).
All levels and their descriptions listed above are approximate and not binding to Parrot in any way. DR Levels are NOT related to pay; see the compensation page for payment information.
Different levels of DRs may see different events on their calendar. Most eligible events are released 2 weeks before the start of the event, but all events you are available to book will be released no later than 1 week before the event.
