Depositions in Aid (FL only)

Depositions-in-Aid are an event type that is only available to certain Digital Reporters in Florida. They currently all done by one single client: Lotane. See below for more information about this event type and how to service them.

If the client is Lotane, that is a Deposition in Aid. Before booking a Lotane event, read through the article below.

  • Depos in Aid are typically scheduled to be 15 minutes long.
  • Many times, they are back-to-back events with the same attorney, and DRs are expected to book these events back-to-back within the platform. (You will most likely be unable to book events if you cannot take them all back-to-back).
  • Depositions in Aid do not use the traditional script used for EUOs and Depositions. They use a simplified event form in which you only need to record:
    • Attendee information
    • Notes
    • How the event ended (Completed, CNA, etc.)
    • Your location
  • You can find the appropriate script to use by clicking the "Open event script" button on the right panel.
  • Depositions in aid do ask read/waive, but do not ask clients about transcript orders.
    • Everything else will be the same script you read for a deposition.
