Witness Without Video

Sometimes, a witness may join an event without a video. If this happens, and none of the troubleshooting steps are successful, following the protocol below:

  1. Confirm counsel are okay with continuing the event.
  2. Stipulate to the identity of the witness without a camera, using the following script:
    1. For the record, the witness is appearing by audio only for this proceeding. Accordingly, do both sides stipulate to my administering the oath to this witness?
  3. When you swear in the witness, confirm they are raising their right hand before proceeding.
  4. Swear in the witness as usual, and continue the proceeding.
