Non-CNA Statement (IL only)

For some Illinois events with witness no shows, the client might ask for you to make a statement on the record. While Illinois does not have CNAs, you still should comply with this request by stating on the record that the witness did not appear. You can use the script below.*

Today is [Day]. It is [Month] [Date], [Year] the time is [Time]. We are present to record the [Event Name] which was scheduled for [Time].

Attendees in this call include [say the name of every attendee present in the zoom call]. [Witness] has failed to appear for this [deposition/EUO].
